## Review: There are very few movies where the plot is complex and difficult to follow and understand, but still, we get glued in with a genuine interest and excitement without even bothering to look at if any flaws are there or not. Tenet, for me, is and will be No. 1 if such a list of movies is ever made. Firstly, the acting is great. There was no bad side or weakness in the acting. Washington portrays his "no-named" protagonist dazzlingly. Being a secret James Bond. Pattinson is such a treat to watch as Neil. Who is so mysterious, just like the protagonist?

The chemistry between them is also one of the highlights of the movie. Elizabeth Debicki's Kat Sator gives the movie the emotional setup it needs. About how much she's going through and how much Washington's character really cares for her because of her situation. She nailed her role. Sir Kenneth Branagh is really on his game here. His portrayal of the eccentric and cruel Russian oligarch Andrei Sator is brilliant. He makes you hate him. He's such an intelligent as well as a cruel "antagonist," or villain in short.

Dimple Kapadia is in the movie for like 7-8 minutes, but she really nails it. She proves her authenticity and is glad to see Indian talent in such a lead. The storyline and screenplay of the movie are out of this world. You'll scratch your head. But as the revelations occur, it's something jaw-dropping. It hits you in the face. The action is spectacular. Especially when the choreography of something or someone is inverted backwards while the other is forward. Hoyte Van Hoytema deserves the Academy Award for his astonishing cinematography. So does Ludwig Göransson for his bone-chilling background scores. The entire theater was shaking with his beats and tunes.

The soundtrack created more and more intensity in every sequence. The only flaw that can be noticed is in the sound mixing. It's too loud sometimes. But not as bad as other critics and people describe. Overall, this is my favorite Christopher Nolan movie ever. It has that emotional impact too. Especially when you realize what happened, what was about to happen, and what will happen. I don't know why some people describe it as "emotionless." In fact, it's my favorite movie of all time. It's only because I've seen many movies—loads of genres and loads of flicks. But I've never seen anything like this. This movie is way ahead of our time.

Each and every sequence captivates you with its pure brilliance. And it's so complex. I really warn those who don't like to bend their minds for movies; they'll be bothered. This masterpiece is just a Rubik's cube. As much as you dig deep, you'll love it more and more. With new details popping out every time, Personally, this movie moved me and amazed me on a whole other level. I don't know what to say to those who didn't like it or are calling it Nolan's worst. I just want to say that Nolan is far too intelligent and advanced to have given us a movie that is way ahead of our time. He deserves an Oscar this time, for sure. Mark my words, this movie will go down as one of the greatest movies in cinema. It needs more appreciation, honestly.

Because this is how you perform a concept. Especially a concept like "time travel." So brilliantly, uniquely, and intelligently. This execution makes more sense than the time-travel flicks we usually get. Requires multiple viewings. As the movie quotes, "Don't try to understand it. Feel it." So for me, Tenet is nothing short of a CAPTIVATING MASTERPIECE.

Giving this movie a full-fledged 5-star rating Just because this whole movie deserves it. Only watching it for the first time, I did wonder at times throughout the movie if the editors needed a long break after working on this film. They might be the ones with their minds intertwined! Jokes aside, I believed this movie could not be handled any better as everything has been made clear on screen as The Protagonist learns throughout the development of the events that unfold, opening us up into a world where both times are intertwined within the same space, resulting in even the same person co-existing in the same space (past, present, future), in which we get to see the past protagonist’s point of view first, leading on to the future protagonist’s view due to him going back to the past, and then only the present protagonist’s view after using the time inversion device in the past.

As for the part where things are made clear on screen, when events are unfolding, the camera works have been hinting and showing us clearly what was going on, especially with the weird scenes where time is being inversed since it first unfolded. Throughout,  when we are watching the PAST protagonist’s point of view, the objects are fine and good, but suddenly they have been cracked and damaged by the next second, indicating something had happened with the interference by a time traveler (inverted person) or an object from the future (inverted object). Things may be happening fast, but that is all good to keep up with the intensity of the film. Hence, this is a very intelligent film, and I must say it was my first time catching on so much after first screening all of Nolan’s movies (besides The Dark Knight series).

I will not compare this to Memento, Inception, and Interstellar because they are all different films and wrap around different contexts and anchor points. However, in terms of cinematographic aspects between these films, I must say Nolan has indeed improved by miles for Tenet. Things can be handled better, but so far I can’t think of how it can be done.

Besides probably better casting, these casts hold themselves very well throughout the entire film. It is no surprise that no matter how good of a film this is, many viewers will still leave the halls confused, with unresolved questions, and will not keep up after their first screening, but everyone will follow up at their own speed in following up to these events, as we do not see this kind of film everywhere or not being done by much, especially with time travel and an unfamiliar law of physics that we are hardly introduced to, time inversion. Overall, it was a full-fledged 5-star movie for me, and I enjoyed this movie very much.
