## Storyline: The activity show Tiger Zinda Hai may be a to the blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger. When a bunch of Indian and Pakistani medical caretakers are held prisoner in Iraq by the aggressor Abu Usman, Indian Insights (Crude) tracks down the hermitic operator Tiger 8 a long time after he fled with previous Pakistani Insights (ISI) specialist Zoya. Joining the powers for humankind, Tiger and Zoya set out on a protect mission.
## Review: Tiger Zinda Hai, The sequel to Ek Tha Tiger is bigger and has more of everything one looks for in an action thriller. Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar (the Sultan’s Director), it delivers Bhai-style entertainment against a backdrop of a story inspired by true events and an international scale of presentation.
The director wins the challenge of keeping the audience engaged in spite of the predictable end point and long duration (2 hours, 40 minutes) through an enthralling screenplay, an amazing soundtrack, superbly executed action scenes, real texture, punchy dialogues, enough surprises along the journey, and some fine performances by the main cast. The only negative is the forced fit message of peace between Indo-Pak (Aman ki Asha type).
Salman performs Tiger with aplomb and swag. It’s great to watch him in such roles. The director has also added enough scenes to make his fans go crazy. Katrina has given her best performance till date; she is too good in this film. Paresh Rawal gives another brilliant performance. The villain, played by newcomer Sajjad Delfrooz, is aptly cast and does a fine job.
The other supporting cast members are also good. The film is top-notch in the technical aspects, on par with any international action thriller. It ends on a high and positive note with the Swag se swagat song. Overall, a film with all the ingredients of a blockbuster. Even non-Salman fans will come back entertained. Perfect outing during the year-end holidays.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar, Aditya Chopra, and his YRF productions are back after the 2016 release of Sultan, and that too with a bang! The team delivers yet another blockbuster, which is definitely going to break many of the Box Office Collection records!! YRF Productions has now got the pulse of the audience and knows how to churn out BLOCKBUSTERS after BLOCKBUSTERS!!! BLOCKBUSTERS are made because of STAR’s and STAR POWER, and when you talk of STAR POWER, no one... I think no one in today’s time can beat SALMAN in that!!!
This is a movie for all Salman fans, and from his introduction scene to the climax, he is rock solid in all those scenes!! The intensity that you get to see in his eyes is amazing!! He is just outstanding in this movie. Although the storyline defies logic in terms of the practicality of RAW agents and ISI agents working together on a mission to save 40 nurses, of whom 25 are Indians and 15 are Pakistanis, do we need logic in a Salman starrer?
For a change, Katrina not only looks good but also acts well, and it’s very nice to see her do almost all her action scenes on her own without using a body double!! Talking of action, full credits to Hollywood action director Tom Struthers, who has taken the action sequences of Salman and Katrina to a different level altogether!! The supporting cast of Kumud Mishra, Angad Bedi, Girish Karnad, Paresh Rawal, debutante Paresh Pahuja, and others do a good job!!
A special mention goes to Iranian-born Sajjad Delafrooz, who plays the role of the villain Abu Usman in the movie!! Even though TZH doesn’t have a strong story line, it makes for a very interesting watch!! For all the SALMAN fans out there, it’s a total PAISA VASOOL movie!! We get to see the bare body of Salman in one of the action scenes, and the entire movie hall had a deafening applause for that!!
For that and many other such crazy moments, my recommendation is... CANT AFFORD TO MISS IT!!! A must-watch. Sheer Star Power at its best!! Aur ye mat bhulna... TIGER ABHI BHI ZINDA HAI... so... sequel and yet another BLOCKBUSTER to look forward to in another couple of years 🤞🏻 !!SALMAN, you u ROCK!!!
