## Review: This game surprised me in all the best ways and will stick with me for quite some time. I went into it knowing very little, and I feel that's how it should be experienced. Inside starts off with your typical dystopian, post-apocalyptic atmosphere. It's understated and subtle in its approach to storytelling, but the more you play, the more bizarre it gets.

From the tension of men with flashlights and dogs chasing you to avoiding the snares of security machines, puzzles involving mind control, underwater creatures that try to drown you, and a lab with a shocking experiment that leads to an ill-fated conclusion, Inside is a truly brilliant game that never gets boring. Though there's few hints on any sort of back story, a lot of things can be inferred from the landscape and the things you encounter, which is part of what makes it so great.

There are many instances where you do have to pay more attention to what's going on in the background so you don't get caught, which I thought was brilliant for a 2D-oriented puzzle platform game with 3D elements. The only drawback for me was the difficulty and lack of intuitiveness in solving certain puzzles, as I did have to look some things up. But overall, this game was amazing and an absolute treat that was worth every penny.

I highly recommend it if you like puzzles, post-apocalyptic stories, or mysterious things that creep you out. I still can't get over that ending. It was grotesque and sad, but it also shed some light on why the game is called 'INSIDE'. I downloaded this game because it came free with my Xbox Live subscription, not expecting much from it. I was met with astounding scenery, confusing but fun puzzles, edge-of-my seat chases, fear, excitement, and so much more.

Not one word of dialog was spoken, but I was able to keep up with what was happening. The villains were great, making me feel real emotion over getting caught, and the small victories throughout the game were worth the time and effort I had to put in to solve and get past checkpoints. Don’t even get me started on the soundtrack. This was an amazing feature of the game, which had my heart racing at points. The music lifted tension and emotion. The level of detail was also an immense upside to my playing experience.

I was amazed by the intricacies of this game, which required me to really pay attention to detail or think outside the box. I don’t usually leave reviews on games, but wow, this game was great. I highly recommend it if you want a game that is simplistic but does the job of keeping you on the edge of your seat throughout. Beautiful game. Inside can only be explained as a masterpiece; it's epic backgrounds, awesome music, and fantastic gameplay make it one of the best games I've ever played. It's set in a dystopian world where you play as a young boy trying to break into some form of facility, with just enough mystery to leave you thinking it's a game impossible to forget.

If you are into puzzle, horror, or post-apocalyptic themes, it's the perfect game for you, and even if you aren't, you should give it a try. I highly recommend it. Inside is indisputably a masterpiece and an achievement in artistic storytelling. There is not an utterance of dialogue; the entire gameplay is built with narration that is eerie and inaudible, leaving to interpretation the unbridled awe of the entire experience.

This is a new form of minimalist beauty among most other overzealous and uninvolved games. I've always wanted to see incredible character animation in a game. They say 'be the change you want to see in the world,' but this I have already seen done by Playdead. Replaying it again, I cannot help but observe the complex animation and design within such a simple disposition. Truly incredible.
